STATE COURT FILING FEES
Since 21/07/2016, when the Constitutional Court issued its ruling 140/2016 which ruled on the unconstitutionality appeal 973/2013 filed against some articles of the Legal Fees Act 10/2012 which declared the unconstitutionality of article 7, section 1 of the Act, the following fees were annulled:
- In civil jurisdiction: appeal: €800; appeal for cassation and extraordinary appeal for breach of procedure: €1,200
- In judicial review jurisdiction: summary: €200; ordinary: €350; appeal: €800; appeal for cassation: €1,200
- In employment matters: reversal: €500; appeal for cassation: €750
However, the rest of the fees regulated in that article remain valid. Those lawsuits filed by legal entities in civil jurisdiction are currently subject to the state court filing fee (form 696). Payment order and oral proceedings must be for amounts greater than €2,000.

AUTONOMOUS COMMUNITY COURT FILING FEES
The Generalitat of Catalonia has also established a judicial fee at an autonomous community level under the title Fee for the provision of personal and material services within the scope of the Department of Justice. This is regulated by Legislative Decree 3/2008 of 25 June and by Order JUS 303/2014, of 13 October and updated by Act 5/2017 of 28 May.
Only legal entities that are not exempt from Business Activities Tax are subject to them, in other words, that do not invoice more than one million euros per annum, or from Company Tax, or that are beneficiaries of legal aid. The amounts to pay are as follows:
In civil jurisdiction:
- Payment order proceedings in the first or only instance: €66.20
- Proceedings in the first or only instance other than payment order proceedings: €99.30
- Bankruptcy proceedings application: €99.30
- Proceedings in second or greater instance of the main proceedings that must be resolved by the legal bodies based in Catalonia: €132.40
In judicial review jurisdiction:
- Proceedings in first or only instance: €99.30
- Proceedings in second or greater instance of the main proceedings that must be resolved by the legal bodies based in Catalonia: €132.40
